5,000 Women Festival in Philadelphia

Held in honor of Women’s History Month, the 5,000 Women Festival brings together female artists from a diverse array of disciplines, backgrounds, and ages for a not-to-be-missed evening of entertainment. Hosted by and featuring Philadelphia’s Jennifer Blaine, “whose comic genius is like Lily Tomlin and Tracey Ullman” (Philadelphia Daily News), the evening will also include: Naomi Ekperigin (FX’s “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell”) Sharon Geller (“Saturday Night Live”) Karen Getz and Kelly Jennings (Comedy Sportz, Time-Traveling Victorian Anthropologists — Gwen and Cec) Susan Windle (acclaimed Philadelphia poet, Through The Gates) Jaquetta Colson (dancer and educator, Living Arts Dance) Joy Mariama Smith (cutting edge performance artist, Collage festival) Susan Perti Dunn (singer-songwriter, pianist)
